Alegria Having associated Ital Tek with the 140 BPM tempo range I was about to overlook this, but after the brilliant "Threads" LP by Om Unit on Civil Music I had to check more of what the label has to offer. This EP is a perfect example of why you need to keep an eye out for anything new on Civil! Ital Tek nails the intelligent side of footwork/juke music. I feel "Universal Decay" will stand the test of time and that tune is probably the main reason I bought this on wax. Gwarn Civil Music and Ital Tek! Favorite track: Universal Decay.
